Celtic are on the verge of signing a Scottish record kit deal with adidas, according to Daily Record.
That would take effect from the start of next season, with the sportwear giants taking over from New Balance.
And it’s a potential partnership that appears to be exciting Celtic supporters.
At least it does at the moment – but that’s without seeing the first shirt design that comes from adidas.
These two kits have been posted to social media over the last few days and could be under consideration ahead of the deal being officially announced over the coming months.
But they could also be concept kits – so we might get something completely difference when the real strip is revealed:
New Balance have been kit manufacturers for the last five years, producing some good and some bad shirts throughout that time.
But adidas is a significant partnership and would be a real upgrade from New Balance.
